Meet Walter, FieldStack’s Chief Floof & Morale Officer (CFMO) and one of our favorite demo co-hosts. Since joining the team in 2024, Walter has spent plenty of time sitting in on software demos, observing how retailers explore the platform and the types of questions that tend to come up.

Over time, our team has noticed the same questions appearing again and again — before and during our demos. And while Walter may not understand POS systems or inventory workflows, he’s been around enough demos to know when a conversation is clicking.

Can I get access to a demo environment to try the software myself? +
We don’t provide sandbox environments for general access. However, you can see the platforms in action during a live demo scheduled via a discovery call.
What’s involved in the demo process? +
The demo starts with a discovery call to learn about your operational needs. From there, our Client Success team tailors a live demo focusing on the features most relevant to you and your workflows.
Do you integrate with Astro Loyalty? +
Yes, PetStack Plus and FieldStack both integrate with Astro Loyalty.
Do you work with any payment providers, or only specific ones? +
We work closely with Fiserv and strive to negotiate the best processing rates for our clients. For other providers, our team can discuss options and compatibility. Just ask!
Do I have to use your hardware? +
We recommend Touch Dynamic POS and retail devices, but we understand some clients prefer other hardware. We’re happy to review whether your preferred devices are compatible with PetStack or FieldStack.
Can I see how inventory moves between locations during the demo? +
Of course! Our demos showcase real-time inventory movement from location to location, so you can see how multi-location operations are handled.
What kind of support can I expect? +
FieldStack provides ongoing business and technical support through our Shared Success Partnership Model, including consultative services, strategic planning, and access to a dedicated Client Success team. Support services included with PetStack depend on the tier you select.
